An underground storage tank could be the source of a chemical leak in Flat Rock near the Huron River.
The City of Flat Rock released an update on the leak Monday.
The leak was first reported to authorities last week by a fisherman.
Officials say environmental groups have contained the leak and there is no threat to the public.
Samples from the tank have been sent to the Coast Guard for analysis and results are pending.
Huroc Park in Flat Rock has been closed as a precaution since last week, but city officials say the park will reopen on Friday.
