Update: the plushie has been reunited with its family.

A lost traveler at Detroit Metro Airport is hoping to be reunited with its family after being left behind in the airport last week.

The lost traveler, it turns out, is a plushy.

The lost plushy that appears to be a cow was left near the water feature in the McNamara Terminal on March 4.

A social media post from DTW said a good samaritan found the plushy and handed it over to the proper authorities.

“He is currently safe and enjoying his travels, but he’s ready to be reunited with his owner!” the social media post said.

By the looks of the social media post, it seems the toy has been enjoying its time at the airport.

One photo shows the toy sitting in the pilot seat of an airplane, and it looks like the cow even made a stop in the Big Apple.

The plushie’s rightful owner is welcome to visit this link to become reunited with the furry little friend.
