Winter Weather Advisory for Wayne County

Issued by National Weather Service

Detroit, MI

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO NOON EST TUESDAY…

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches.

* WHERE…Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe Counties.

* WHEN…From 3 PM this afternoon to noon EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute today and morning commute on Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A mix of light rain and snow will change to snow today. Light accumulations on grassy surfaces will be possible today with accumulation on roadways increasing between 3 pm and 6 pm and especially tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Slow down and use caution while traveling.
