Power outages being reported across southeast Michigan following windy Wednesday

After a windy day with gusts reaching around 50 mph, power outages are being reported across the region.

DTE says: “High winds are sweeping throughout southeast Michigan today. If you’re experiencing a power outage, please report it by clicking Report An Outage above. Please be safe and remain at least 25 feet away from downed power lines or anything in contact with them. Assume any downed power line is live and dangerous.”
