A popular local greenhouse is designing a new way to sell their products this spring and summer during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Schwartz’s Greenhouse, 30705 Sibley Road, told customers in a Facebook post Thursday that the business is going to implement online ordering and curbside pickup this season.
“As of right now we are in the final stages of implementing an online ordering system through our website,” the Facebook post said. “This is an exciting thing we are going to offer to you to help practice our best social distancing as a community as possible. It’s important that we all do our part responsibly and we feel by doing this and limiting the amount of interaction between people while still providing you all your products as efficiently as possible is an exciting thing.”
Schwartz’s said they are planning to have the system ready by May 1 and they plan to open the greenhouses around the same time, but customers should check the business’s Facebook page for updates.

Yippie were looking forward to that
The problem here is flower and veggie buying does not qualify as essential I’m thinking. Not sure where this is going to go.
Since the latest announcement, I’m looking for confirmation that ordering online & curb pick up or delivery is still an option. Thank you
This would be fantastic.
Thank You, Thank You. Can’t wait.
I look forward to online ordering. Sounds good for we older folks that still love flowers!
When and how will we get info about ordering on line and pick up?
Has the date for your opening changed since the new lockdown date of May 15th? sue Loewe
