Power outages currently affecting portions of Huron Township

A large portion of Huron Township is currently dealing with power outages as of Tuesday afternoon.

According to the DTE outage map, over 1,000 residents are currently without power in the township.

DTE says the power outage is due to equipment failure, and that restoration times are estimated for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
