Severe weather possible Monday night through Tuesday morning

Strong to severe thunderstorms are in the forecast for late Monday and into early Tuesday morning in southern lower Michigan, according to the National Weather Service.

Severe weather will be possible over most of southern Lower Michigan this evening and tonight. Greatest potential still is possible for areas south of the I-69 corridor.

With the early week storm comes the chance of flooding as rainfall could be heavy at times.
