Local, state, and federal officials are still trying to find the source of a chemical leak in the Huron River area in the city of Flat Rock.
The leak was first reported by a fisherman Monday evening in the river breakwater, and city officials in Flat Rock say that there is no harm to the public.
Still, Huroc Park and Flat Rock Animal Shelter will remain closed as a precaution while the investigation into the substance leak continues.
