Huron Township police arrested a second suspect wanted in connection to a Dec. 23 shooting that occurred in the 28000 block of Glenwood in the Country Meadows Mobile Home Community.
Police have taken into custody Jalen Jujuan-Kendall Brent, 22.
“He was taken into custody this afternoon. We are submitting charges to the Wayne County prosecuting attorney. He is being held in the Huron Township jail facility pending charges,” said Everette Robbins, Huron Township director of public safety.
Brent is a resident of either Pontiac or Detroit, police said in an earlier statement.
Brent is accused of being involved in the shooting that occurred around noon on Dec. 23.
Another person involved, a 23-year-old man from Pontiac, was taken into custody Dec. 23 after an extensive police search that involved multiple law enforcement agencies.
The shooting sent a 22-year-old Huron Township resident to a local hospital for treatment. The victim was listed in stable condition following treatment.
