Update: Huron Township police call off search for shooting suspects

Huron Township police are looking for two suspects after a shooting reportedly occurred on Will Carleton Road on Thursday.

Michigan State Police are conducting an air search for the suspects, and Monroe County Sheriff tactical team is assisting in the search.

The department of public safety posted an alert on their Facebook page Thursday afternoon.

SHOOTING ALERT:
A shooting has occurred on Wil Carleton. Two suspects are currently on foot, last seen on Wil
Carleton, near the area between Wil Carleton and I-275. Consider armed and dangerous and do not approach. Call 911 immediately if observed.

Suspect description:

Black male with dred locks.

Black female wearing gry leggings and an unknown color bandana. Late teens, early 20’s
