Local residents need not travel all the way to Detroit to check out some world famous artwork.

Instead, the Detroit Institute of Arts is bringing it to Huron Township.

The Huron Parks and Recreation Commission applied to the DIA’s Inside|Out program and was awarded the displays for the 2021 year.

The annual program brings high-quality reproductions from the DIA’s collection to outdoor venues in communities throughout the state of Michigan.

Seven full-size, high quality reproductions have been installed throughout the township, encouraging residents to get out and enjoy these many masterpieces in our own community.

The artwork will be on display until November.

The locations are: Township Hall, Berlinn Park, Historical Building, Riverside Park, vacant lot in town, Lajko Park, and the Senior Park.
