A popular local restaurant announced Monday that it is closing its doors for good.

The Waltz Inn, 28080 Waltz Road in Waltz, made a post on Facebook May 10 saying the business will close after being owned and operated by the current owners for 37 years.

The restaurant closed its doors at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, and after giving some thought to reopening according to their recent social media posts, the business will in fact not reopen.

The business posted to Facebook and thanked the loyal customers who have frequented the restaurant over the years.
