Pole barn catches fire on Sibley Road between Vining and Merriman, no injuries reported

A pole barn caught fire on Sibley Road between Vining and Merriman Roads on Monday.

Sibley Road is currently closed between Vining and Merriman Roads as first responders work at the scene.

Everette Robbins, Huron Township director of public safety, said the fire has been extinguished and that Sibley could be closed for about 1-2 more hours Monday evening.

Robbins said there were no injuries reported during the incident.
