Alert posted from the Public Safety Department:

At approximately 12:20p.m. this afternoon, the Huron Township Police and Fire Departments responded to the 19000 block of Middlebelt Road after receiving a 911 call regarding a deceased person located in the area. Upon arrival, First responders located a deceased male inside a ditch within a wooded area. The initial investigation is indicating that the physical characteristics are consistent with Raymond Foster, a local missing person.

The Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy in an attempt to determine cause of death as well as provide a positive identification. The family of Mr. Foster has been notified and is very thankful for our community’s support. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Huron Township Police Department Detective Bureau at 734-753-4400. We will provide further updates as it becomes available.
