Police in Huron Township are continuing to search for a man who went missing Sept. 22.

Raymond Foster, 69, went missing from the 19600 block of Middlebelt Road in Huron Township. He was last seen after leaving his home walking to the store at King and Middlebelt Roads.

Here is an update from the police department posted this evening:

SEARCH UPDATE:

Mr. Foster was NOT located during our extensive ground search today. We have conducted multiple search’s in the area over the past week in an attempt to locate Mr. Foster.

We will continue to use every option available to locate him. Anyone with tips is asked to call the Huron Township Emergency Dispatch Center at 734-753-4400.

A special thank you to our Mounted Division, Our K9 Unit who worked with the assistance of the Ecorse and Taylor Police Department K9 Units, the Shielded Souls Motorcycle Club who allowed us use of their parking lot to establish a command center, and the residents of Huron Township who allowed us access to their properties for the search.

GROUND SEARCH:

The Huron Township Department of Public Safety will be conducting a ground search for a missing person, beginning in the area of King and Middlebelt Roads. Multiple locations in the area may be searched.

The Huron Township Mounted Unit as well as the K9 Unit will be leading the search. Please do not approach searching staff members as it can affect the effectiveness of the search. Any questions should be directed to Director Robbins at 734-753-4400.

Raymond Foster, 69-years-old. Missing from the 19600 block of Middlebelt Road in Huron Township. Last seen after leaving his home walking to the store at King and Middlebelt Roads.

MISSING PERSON DESCRIPTION:

Dark complexion, short black hair, brown eyes. Clean shaven

Height: 5’8″

LAST SEEN WEARING: Yellow and Black colored pajama style pants. Black and white tennis shoes.
