Yard waste collection in Huron Township will resume the week of Monday, April 20.
Waste Management temporarily suspended yard waste collection and bulk collections on April 1 to focus on the performance of essential services.
Since that time, Supervisor David Glaab “has been working with Waste Management to reinstate this important service,” a statement from the supervisor’s office said.
“I am pleased to inform our residents that yard waste collection will resume the week of Monday, April 20, 2020,” Glaab said. “While yard waste collection will resume, because of anticipated heavy volumes, some yard waste may not be picked up on the regular service day. However, Waste Management crews will work to recover the material as quickly as possible based on crew availability.”
The suspension of bulk collection remains in place until further notice.
