Southeast Michigan under ‘slight risk’ for severe weather Tuesday evening

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this evening into tonight.

The National Weather Service in Detroit says there is a chance some storms could become severe with large hail and damaging wind gusts as the primary threats.

An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

The potentially severe weather could occur between 8 p.m. and midnight.
