…Winter Weather Advisory in Effect…
Increasing northerly winds is drawing colder air into the region, causing temperatures to fall through the 20s. This along with falling snow is allowing snow to more effectively stick to road surfaces. Light to occasionally moderate snow will persist through the evening rush. Snowfall rates may reach a half inch per hour. between 4 PM and 8 PM around an inch or two additional snow accumulation is expected. Drivers will need to use caution this evening as road conditions continue to deteriorate.
