The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for southeast Michigan.
The watch is active from late Tuesday night through late Wednesday night.
4 to 8 inches of snow is forecasted for southeast Michigan.
The NWS says the exact location of the heaviest snow across southeast Michigan still carries some uncertainty at this time.
There is likely to be minor adjustments made to forecast total snow over the next 24 hours, forecasters said.
Travel, especially on Wednesday, could be hazardous during the morning and evening commutes.
