From HuronHighChiefs.org:

Putting and end to a 17 year drought. The last time the Chiefs won the Regional was 2003 and many of these wrestlers were not even born yet.

The Chiefs dispatched that nemesis Tecumseh 66-12 in the semifinals.

Nelson Poet (160), Cody Brenner (171), Braden Damiani (189), Brendan Damiani (215), Carr (140) and Rosen (152) all went 2-0 for Huron, which advances to the state quarterfinals at the Wings Events Center in Kalamazoo on Feb. 28.
