It’s going to be a windy afternoon in southeast Michigan, followed by a quick chill.

As the morning rain exits the area attention turns to gusty conditions for the afternoon hours. Westerly winds will gust to around 30-40 mph across southeast Michigan this afternoon. Temperatures will be mild today around 40F, but will cool off Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the mid 20s.
