Event posted Nov. 13, 2019

A Christmas event will be held Sunday, Dec 1 at the Sam Adams Historical House in downtown New Boston from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Here’s more info about the event from The Huron Township Historical Commission event page:

Take a step back in time and join us at the museum as we create an old fashioned Christmas for all to enjoy. Folk musician Tom Slatton will be back to regale us with Christmas music, home-baked goodies and hot cocoa will be served, the children’s tree will be filled with ornaments and horse drawn carriage rides will be offered.

Children will be able to take home a ornament from the children’s tree and will get to make reindeeer food for Christmas Eve!

We will again host an outdoor market with select vendors.

This event is in collaboration with the Recreation Commission’s activities which include the annual tree lighting and Santa’s arrival in New Boston.

New this year, we will have a warming tent sponsored by the Huron Township Rotary!
