It’s homecoming Friday in Huron Township.
And it looks like Mother Nature is cooperating for everyone heading out to the homecoming game tonight.
Kickoff for the homecoming game against Airport High School is at 7 p.m. Friday.
The forecast all day calls for mostly clear skies with highs in the low 80s, and by kickoff tonight, it’ll remain dry and highs will be in the mid 70s.
That’s perfect football weather, if you ask me.
Homecoming king and queen will be crowned at half time.
Friday afternoon, the homecoming parade will start at 4 p.m. at the soccer fields on Huron River Drive and head south to Arrowhead Stadium at Huron High School.
The homecoming dance is on Saturday.
Anyone interested in sharing their homecoming photos for publication are encouraged to do so.
To share your photos, post on our Facebook and Twitter pages, or email your photos to Editor@HuronHub.com.
The Huron Hub wishes everyone participating in the festivities tonight and this weekend a safe and fun time.
Go Chiefs!
Correction: An initial post said the homecoming parade started at 3:30 p.m. This article has been updated to reflect the correct starting time.
