Police found a person dead inside a house near the 21000 block of Huron River Drive following a police situation that began Tuesday evening and didn’t end until the early morning hours on Wednesday.

“We located the subject deceased inside his residence. The investigation is ongoing,” said Everette Robbins, director of public safety, at about 1 a.m. Wednesday.

Police are not releasing any further information at this time.

Police initially locked down the neighborhood near the incident, but they say the area is now safe.
