The hiatus is over — Janet’s Village Shop in downtown New Boston is hosting a grand reopening celebration on Friday, Aug. 16.

Located at 37278 Huron River Drive, the shop, which was temporarily closed, will reopen to the public at noon Friday.

The shop features several rooms filled with handmade and unique toys, gifts, and decorations for sale.

The shop will be open Fridays, noon to 5 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Refreshments will be served all weekend during the reopening celebration.

On closed days, shoppers can call Janet for an appointment at 734-753-4545.
