Wednesday was freshmen orientation at Huron High School.
Being a freshman in any school district can be nerve-racking for students.
To ease the transition and help calm some of those nerves, a special warm welcome was presented to this year’s freshman class.
During the orientation, the incoming class was welcomed by a group of their peers at the school known as the “Link Crew.”
Link Crew is a high school transition program that welcomes freshmen and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their high school experience.
Check out a video of the crew welcoming the new students posted to Twitter by Steven Hudock, principal of Huron High School.
