Trudy’s Diner in New Boston announced Saturday on their Facebook page that Aug. 25 will be the business’s last day.

The diner opened at the downtown location, which has housed multiple diners in the past few years, in March 2019.

“It is with a saddened heart that I have to inform you all, that Trudys Diner, will be closing its doors at end of business on August 25th, 2019,” the business said in a Facebook post.

“The owners are selling the building and it is financially impossible for the diner to purchase it at this time. We appreciate each and every one of you and are very thankful for all of you for making us a success.”

The post went on to say that the diner hopes to open in a new location someday, and that they hope people will continue to dine at the restaurant up until they close.
