From The National Weather Service in Detroit:
Rain and thunderstorms will move into the area this afternoon and continue into the overnight hours. Primary threat will be heavy rain, with a stronger wind gust or two up to 50 mph also possible. Severe weather is not anticipated at this time. Rainfall totals around 1 to 2 inches likely with localized 3 inch totals possible. Urban and small stream flooding and possible flash flooding may be possible with excessive rainfall.
