Celebrate Independence Day by joining the Huron Township Historical Commission for a community bike parade and old-fashioned ice cream social, along with other activities on July 4.
The commission will be hosting a variety of activities including touring the one-room school house, viewing and learning about antique and vintage bikes, touring the fire station and smoke house.
This event is free.
Participation in the parade is optional, but encouraged.
The parade will start at the Waltz Green Acres Sod Farm located at the corner of Ash and Waltz Roads at noon.
The parade will ride down Waltz and turn onto Mineral Springs to end at the One-Room Schoolhouse.
All activities will take place in the parking lot of the schoolhouse.
Registration forms are available online here or at the Township Hall located at 22950 Huron River Drive.
