Brenda Bressler, music teacher at Renton Junior High School in New Boston, was announced May’s teacher of the month by State Rep. Darrin Camilleri (D-Brownstown Township).
Camilleri said Bressler has a great devotion to sharing music and joy with her students.
“Her love for music is infectious and inspires so many students in Huron Township. Please join me in saying thank you to her for all her hard work,” he said.
In honor of teacher appreciation week, Camilleri personally delivered donuts to schools across the 23rd District.
Earlier this week, Camilleri also sent letters to every school throughout the district thanking their teachers for their service and commitment to the community.
“This week, and every week, I am grateful for the hard work of educators across our district as they uplift our young people by ensuring they are on a path to a successful, meaningful life,” Rep. Camilleri said. “I owe much of my own success to the dedicated teachers who believed in me, and as a former teacher, I know how much they sacrifice for our kids. We should take every opportunity we can to let our teachers know that we appreciate all their tireless work,” Camilleri said.
