Photos: Flooding in the Huron area after torrential rain slams region

Storms brought torrential rains to the region Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, causing dangerous flooding all over southeast Michigan. In this photo of the Huron River shared by Huron Hub reader Mary Horbianski, while she walked her dog at Willow Metropark this morning, it was impossible to tell where the edge of the river is because of the water level.

Mother Nature started off the month of May with a real soaker.

Storms brought torrential rain to the area overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, causing flooding in several southeast Michigan communities.

Huron Township was slammed with heavy rain and storms, causing ditches, roadways, and yards to flood.

The Huron River was seen overflowing as of Wednesday morning.

Here are some photos that Huron Hub readers shared that show flooding in different areas of the township.
