Several hundred Huron Township residents are without power Monday morning after a wind storm blew through the area all day Sunday.

The DTE outage map shows the majority of the township’s outages are in the Waltz and Willow Road areas near I-275.

Here is a screen shot of the DTE outage map as of 8:30 a.m. Monday.

The green areas represent 100-500 customers with outages.

DTE says the outages are due to wind damage, and at the time this article was published, there were no estimated restoration times.

Gusts in excess of 55 mph caused damage and mass power outages all across southeast Michigan.

“DTE is assessing damage to the electrical system. Estimates are currently unavailable. Report your outage to get restoration updates. Stay 20 feet away from downed power lines,” the company said in a staement.
