Sunday is going to be a windy day in southeast Michigan.
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind watch for the entire day Sunday.
Gusts of 50 mph are likely beginning in the morning and lasting through late night.
The weather service said don’t be surprised if a few gusts even make it to 60 mph.
Sustained winds will be from the west at 30 to 40 mph.
The highest gusts are most likely during the late morning to late afternoon.
Today would be a good day to make sure items around the yard are secured, since forecasters are calling for rain and storms on Saturday.
It should be an interesting weekend of weather.
