A wind advisory is in effect for all of Southeast Michigan from 7 p.m. this evening to 10 a.m. Friday morning.
Sustained winds of 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected during this time.
Additionally, temperatures will drop rapidly from the 40s this evening into the teens by Friday morning.
Any lingering moisture on roadways may flash freeze tonight, resulting in very slick roads.
Winds will remain gusty through the day Friday (gusting to around 30-40 mph) but will fall below advisory level.
