A winter weather advisory is in effect from 7 p.m. Tuesday evening to 8 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The National Weather Service in Detroit says a wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain is expected during the advisory timeframe.
Total snow accumulations of less than one inch and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch are expected.
Precipitation will change to rain around midnight as temperatures rise to above freezing.
Drivers are advised to plan on slippery and potentially dangerous road conditions as we head into the evening hours and overnight.
