Snow lovers say it’s been a boring winter, while snow haters call it perfect so far.
Well that’s about to change regardless of where you stand on the issue.
Snow and extreme cold temperatures look like they’re headed our way, according to forecasters.
There is a chance of snow Thursday and over the weekend.
Thursday’s snow is forecasted to be relatively light, with about a dusting to three inches possible in the afternoon and evening.
Saturday holds the possibility for a much larger snow storm.
Early forecasts are calling for 3 to 5 inches, with the highest forecasts calling for 7 inches — all of which could potentially fall during the day Saturday.
Of course it’s still too early to pinpoint an exact amount for Saturday, but expect some white fluffy stuff to fall around here at some point that day.
With the snow comes the arctic air. Beginning Friday and lasting through next week, low temps will be in the single digits at night, with high temps reaching only into the teens early next week.
