Huron High homecoming court announced; festivities to be held next week

The candidates for Huron High School’s homecoming king and queen were announced this week.

King candidates are: Garrett Clay; Matthew Giles; Markus Shears; Bradley Smith; Chad Sturgill.

Queen candidates are: Ava DiMilia; Kelsey Drysdale; Riley Farr; Jillian Umin; Maria Vella.

During homecoming festivities next week, the theme at Huron High is Disney, and each grade has chosen a movie from the franchise to represent.

Spirt week festivities will also be held next week in Disney theme.

The homecoming parade begins Friday, Sept. 28 at 5 p.m.

It will start at the soccer fields and proceed south to Arrowhead Stadium at Huron High School.

Kickoff for the homecoming game is at 7 p.m. with a half time show at 8.

Huron takes on the Milan Big Reds.
