PoeFolks Diner, which initially opened at the end of May and was located in downtown New Boston, has closed its door for business.
Owner John Poe released a statement to The Huron Hub on Sunday.
“It isn’t because of business, it was another matter,” Poe said.
“We just want to leave a general statement saying thank you to everybody that came out and tried the food. We tried to give the best flavor for the price that we could. Unfortunately there were matters beyond our control that brought about the closing,” he explained.
Throughout recent years, multiple restaurants have opened for business in the downtown location, but none seem to be able to stay in business.
