Huron Township residents have a new eatery to visit the next time they’re hungry.
PoeFolks Family Diner opened for business Saturday morning at 37005 Huron River Drive in downtown New Boston.
They are open 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The new restaurant will offer a regular menu with a mix of southern recipes, as well as daily specials that include stuffed cabbage, chicken paprikas, breaded pork-chops, and meatloaf.
Owner John Poe lives in Huron Township and operated a barbecue catering business before opening the brick and mortar location.
