I Found a Baby Animal, What Do I Do?

Oakwoods Nature Center, Flat Rock
The Oakwoods Nature Center receives numerous calls each spring from concerned folks who have
“found an abandoned baby animal”. Let’s take a look at what animals you are most likely to encounter,
and what to do if you find a lost or injured critter.

They’re Back!! Birding Adventure Park II
Saturday, May 12th at 7 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Lake Erie Marshlands Museum, Brownstown
Migrating songbirds from the tropics pour into S.E. MI during the spring months.
Join an Interpreter as we explore the park looking for our well-travelled feathered friends!
If you have binoculars, please bring them. If you don’t, you can borrow some of ours!

Mother’s Day Teas
Sunday, May 13th at 1 p.m.
Oakwoods Nature Center, Flat Rock
Treat your Mom to a special program at Oakwoods Nature Center as we learn the stories, history and strange facts about tea.
This program will feature different types of tea, cucumber sandwiches and is FREE for Moms!

Come on out for LENS CAP, the Lake Erie Nature Society for Cameras and Photography. During our classroom explorations,

Canoe Tours
