A springtime burst of snow will impact the region on Friday.
Forecasters say that two bursts of snow will leave about 3 inches on the ground just in time for the weekend.
The first burst of snow will move through southeast Michigan in the early morning hours on Friday and will be gone by 7 a.m.
The second round of snow, which is forecasted to be more spotty, will move from north to south across the state during the day Friday.
By the time it’s all said and done, most of the area will have a fresh coating of snow on the ground, leading to some slick spots on the roads, especially on bridges and overpasses.
Another round of snow is possible Monday into Tuesday before we see a warm-up in temperatures.
