Update 2:45 p.m. — A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for all of Wayne County until 8 p.m.
Keep your eyes to the sky Thursday afternoon.
The National Weather Service in Detroit says that southeast Michigan is under an enhanced risk for severe weather between 2 and 8 p.m. Thursday.
Damaging winds of up to 60 mph, large hail with a one inch diameter, heavy rain/flooding, and a slight chance of an isolated tornado in the region is expected.
