Drainage district boundaries for Wayne County to be reviewed March 27 in Romulus

All residents that are on the county drains of Duff, Winnie, and North Branch Big Swan Creek, there will be a day of review of drainage district boundaries and review of apportionments on March 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wayne County Department of Public Services Roads Division, Central Maintenance Yard, located at 29900 Goddard Road Extension, Romulus.

The day of review is an opportunity to review the drainage district boundaries in Wayne County and the apportionments of benefit for the drains listed above with the drain commissioner or a staff member.  Maps depicting the proposed revisions to the boundaries of each drainage districts can be reviewed at www.waynecounty.com/doe.

The drain commissioner, engineers and/or other staff members will be available to assist individuals throughout the day and make revision where necessary. Please note: the special assessment roll for the North Branch Big Swan Creek Inter-county drain has recently been revised and updated.  All assessments levied in 2016 will be refunded and /or credited toward any assessment amount levied in 2017, if applicable.
