Winter weather advisory issued; 2 to 4 inches of snow expected by late evening

A winter weather advisory has been issued for Wayne County and will remain in effect until 11 p.m. Monday evening.

Light snow will fall through the day and into the evening hours, according to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac.

A genereal 2 to 4 inches of snow is expected to fall across the area, with the highest amounts of 4 inches generally along and south of the I-94 corridor.

Roadways could be slippery during both morning and evening commutes. Drivers are advised to use caution when traveling.
