You might want to have an umbrella handy if you plan to visit 2016 Applefest in New Boston this weekend.
Both days feature chances of rain, which according to local weather forecasts, will be on and off at times.
The good news is, the weekend doesn’t seem to be a wash-out, and Sunday appears to be the most rain-free day. Also, temperatures will hover near the high 60s, so even if it does rain at times, it won’t be freezing cold outside.
Here is the forecast as of 11:30 a.m. Friday, courtesy of WeatherUnderground.com:
The festival’s hours are set for Saturday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and is located at 37283 Huron River Drive.
