Relay For Life of Southern Downriver is set for Saturday, June 4 at Huroc Park in Flat Rock.
The event kicks off at 10 a.m. with an opening ceremony, followed by a survivors lap at 10:30 and then a caregivers lap.
During a candlelight luminary ceremony later at 9 p.m., loved ones lost to cancer will be remembered, with a show of support for people who currently have cancer and for people who fought cancer in the past.

According to the American Cancer Society, the Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all.
