After impressing the celebrity judges during his blind audition on NBC’s hit show “The Voice” on March 8, Daniel Passino of New Boston won during the show’s airing of the battle round last night.

Passino will now move on to the next round of the show, called the knockout round.

The judges had only good things to say about Passino’s performance last night. He will represent team Christina Aguilera throughout the rest of the completion.

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC and operates on a format that features five stages of competition: the first begins with blind auditions, followed by the battle rounds, the knockouts, the live playoffs and finally, the live performance shows.
