Blood is in constant need across our region on a daily basis, and on Friday, Jan. 29 in New Boston, residents can potentially save a life by donating blood to the Red Cross.
A blood drive, hosted by the Huron Township Rotary and Swift Transportation, is being held at 24200 Bell Road in New Boston, from 1 to 7 p.m.
“Everyday we need 900 donors to meet supply-demand in hospitals across Southeastern Michigan,” said Red Cross Representative Martha Roemer Kurtz.
Each productive unit of donated blood could possibly save three lives, according to Kurtz.
