The warm, beautiful weather that we’ve experienced so far this fall season may finally fade away starting this weekend.
That’s right, Old Man Winter may be arriving this weekend packing some snow, which would provide the region’s first amount of measurable, accumulating white stuff.
It’s still early, but some forecasts are calling for around one to two inches of snow possible Friday night into Saturday.
Actual snow amounts will be affected by the temperature of the air. It is possible the snow could be mixed with rain and ice as the weather system moves through the region.
The farther north you go, the snow accumulations could rise.
Again, this forecast could, and probably will change to some degree, but now would be a good time to transition from a fall to winter mindset.
Gas up those snow blowers!
