With the holiday and shopping seasons quickly approaching, The Huron Hub would like to encourage residents in the area to “Shop Small,” and support your local businesses during the holidays.
Starting today and running through Nov. 28 — Small Business Saturday — we would like to provide free promotion to local businesses in Huron Township by offering our platform to promote your services.
If you own or operate a small business in the township, we request that you write a short article that describes what services your business provides, as well as other important information like your hours, location and website.
Add your write up along with one or two photos of your business in an email and send it to ScottBolthouse@HuronHub.com.
Your article will be archived in a special small business section on our website and promoted through our social media channels until Nov. 28.
Small Business Saturday, according to their Facebook page, is the day Americans can celebrate the Shop Small movement to drive shoppers to local merchants across the U.S.
The first Small Business Saturday was declared on Nov. 27, 2010 and has been a successful campaign to promote small businesses during the holidays and into the future.
